Frequently asked questions

Yes! We have been certified by the GFCO as having met all Gluten-Free standards. We are audited every year to maintain our certification.

Gluten free flours are different from wheat flour so the bread products made from them do not maintain their fresh springy quality for very long at room temperature.  We freeze our products immediately after they are packaged and ship them frozen so they’ll be at their peak of freshness when you are ready to eat them.

To restore Jensen’s  buns or bread to their just baked texture wrap 1-2 frozen buns  or 2-4 bread slices in a paper towel or deli wrap. Place in a microwave oven on a medium setting (50-70%)  for about 30 seconds at a time until they are fully thawed and slightly warm.  They will be soft and springy.  DO NOT OVERHEAT.  Buns or bread can be toasted if desired but do not have to be.

Bread and buns can be wrapped in foil and thawed in the oven at 250 degrees until fully thawed and slightly warm.

No, they will not have their original springy, fluffy texture unless you follow the thawing instructions listed above and on the package.   The application of a small amount of heat restores our products to their fresh baked texture.

No, the humidity and air circulation in a refrigerator actually causes bread products to become stale compromising the texture and quality.

To prepare dinner rolls preheat your oven to 350 degrees.  Place frozen dinner rolls on a cookie sheet and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until they are golden brown.  We like to rub a little butter or oil on the surface of the roll before baking.

Our products will retain their quality in your freezer for 6 months.
